Want the right banner sizes without digging through long guides? Here’s the concise reference, including requirements and safe-area notes.

Quick sizes and requirements

Profile banner: 680×240 px, ≤ 10 MB, Nitro required. Your avatar overlaps a portion of the banner.
Server banner: minimum 960×540 px (16:9), ≤ 10 MB, Server Boost level ≥ 2. Animated banners require level 3. The top ~28% is covered by the server name.
Server guide banner: shown in Onboarding → Server Guide, Boost level ≥ 2. Rounded corners; server icon blocks part of the bottom-left.
Server profile banner: 1000×400 px (5:2), ≤ 10 MB. Server icon overlaps; you can use gradients or a custom image.

Avoid text on the banner; it’s small and overlaid by names/icons.
Discord compresses static images; for less compression, use GIF (animated banners play on hover/when visible).
Keep important visuals outside the masked areas (top for server name, bottom-left for icons).
