How to cancel a Patreon membership

Canceling a Patreon membership only takes a few steps. Use the desktop instructions if you’re on the web, or the mobile steps in the app.

Quick steps (desktop)

1. Log in and (if applicable) switch to your member profile
2. Go to Settings → Memberships
3. Find the creator and click View Details
4. Click Cancel membership and confirm
5. Choose whether to stay as a free member, then Save and continue

Quick steps (mobile app)

1. Switch to your member profile
2. From Home, tap the creator you want to manage
3. Tap the 3‑dots → Your membership
4. Tap Edit membership → Cancel membership
5. Scroll down and Confirm cancellation

FAQs

• Will I be charged again? No—once canceled, it won’t renew for the next billing period. Per‑creation billing may include charges for posts made before cancellation.
• Don’t see the membership? Check your Billing History and make sure you’re on the correct account. Try a password reset to surface other accounts tied to your emails.
• Refunds? Patreon doesn’t typically offer refunds as payments go directly to creators. If you believe there’s an error, contact support.
• Access window: You retain access until the end of your current billing period.
